Description
This will program the MK8 Golf GTI/R to remember the Drive Mode on every ignition cycle.
It will keep all custom settings remembered, as well as, keep exhaust valves open when starting in Race Mode on the R.
(Golf R Only): Additionally, we have added full mode cycling with 'R' Button: The stock behavior of the steering wheel 'R' button does not allow you to cycle into Drift or Special (Nürburgring) mode. With our tweak, you will be able to use the 'R' button on the steering wheel to cycle through all 6 Golf R modes. (Comfort -> Sport -> Race -> Drift -> Special -> Custom -> Comfort -> etc...)
Note: For DSG equipped vehicles, if the transmission was left in S mode, occasionally the transmission will default back to D mode rather than S mode on next start.
Note: For Golf R's, if the car is turned off while in drift mode or "special" mode (Nurburgring mode), the next time the car is started it will default to race mode. This is due to the sub-mode nature of the drift and ring modes.

Programming Requirements
1. Computer or Android phone (Laptop is preferred, but desktop may be used if you can place it near your car for the process)
- Windows: 7, 8, 10, or 11
- macOS: 10.15 or newer. Must have Apple silicon processor. Intel-based Macs do not work.
- Linux: Ubuntu 20.04 or newer
Android: 5.0 or newer. Device must allow USB device sharing and have USB-C.

3. A stable internet connection
4. OBDeleven with Pro or Ultimate plan - for SFD unlocking
